UPDATE! These tickets have all been swept up! Better luck next time!
Cut&Paste is what happens when graphic design meets battle rap: Contenders face off in a festive atmosphere under the phosphorescent glow of their computer screens—and the judging eyes of local design professionals—to compete to see who can create the most amazing design related to a given theme, while the audience sips alcoholic beverages and watches them work on large projection screens. Portland, as you know, is crawling with kickass design types, so the Portland event (regional competitions go down all across the US, Europe, and Asia) happening this Saturday at the Portland Art Museum, 7:30 pm should be pretty cutthroat. You can read more about the event in the story I wrote back in ’07 for the first Cut&Paste to come to PDX, or if you’re more of a visual learner, this short Cool Hunting documentary is pretty succinct:
So, wanna go? For the low, low price of $FREE.99? The first five people to email me with “Cut&Paste” in the subject line will get their names added to the guest list for Saturday’s Portland tourny. Ready, set, go…

The “free.99” thing works a lot better when said out loud.
copy/paste seems like a better title?
