Thanks and a tip o’ the helmet to everyone who attended my Pedalpalooza “Lowrider and Mini-Bike Ride” on Saturday! It was wicked fun, and there were plenty of hot-ass bikes. After meeting in the parking lot across from Vendetta (on N. Williams and Skidmore), we took turns on each others wheels and showed off our best tricks. (Yes, my genitals still ache.) Then we slowed down traffic on Mississippi with our mini-bike parade, ate some waffles, and snaked back through the creepy Mississippi alleyways to enjoy some drinks on the Vendetta patio. Afterwards? I’m pretty sure our tiny bikes felt a whole lot bigger. More pix after the jump!

Bang bang, choo-choo train, let me see you shake that thang. Wm. Steven Humphrey is the editor-in-chief of the Portland Mercury and has held the job since 2000. (So don’t get any funny ideas.)
