Aurgh, I didn’t get a chance to post any Tuesday cuteness. Is it too late?
I wish my chickens would do this.
I contend that even though this is from Werner Herzog’s Stroszek from 1977, a film that Ian Curtis watched right before he killed himself, he must not have watched it all the way to this end scene—’cause this dancing chicken would make life worth living.
[No animals were harmed in the writing of this blog post.]

Um…that dancing chicken is terrifying.
Quote from the movie ….”We have a man on the lift; [with a frozen turkey who just blew his head off] we’re unable to find the switch to turn the lift off. We can’t stop the dancing chicken. Send an electrician.”
Quote from Werner Herzog: “Well they are very frightening for me because their stupidity is so flat. You look into the eyes of a chicken and you lose yourself in a completely flat, frightening stupidity. They are like a great metaphor for me… I kind of love chicken, but they frighten me more than any other animal. “
Watch this scene from Bad Lieutenant 2 (Electric Boogaloo) for, uh, context? Kind of a spoiler, yoz

too bad that chicken is simply trying to take a dust bath and dig in what would be straw or grass. this is just depressing…
