DOC, Dayna McEarlean’s Italian restaurant located on what just might be the city’s best dining block in Fox Chase, is turning 10 this year, and to celebrate the milestone, it’s been partnering with regional winemakers and local chefs for a series of monthly “Au Naturale” wine dinners.

And the next one is a can’t-miss ordeal, as DOC’s Brian Scibetta teams up with Tutonic Wine Company’s Barnaby Tuttle and Wares chef Johanna Ware in May.

Each house party-like wine dinner begins with a pre-game toast in the DOC kitchen before diners are escorted into the private dining room at Nonna Tavern, DOC’s sister Italian restaurant, where they’ll be treated to kitchen and vineyard stories, performance art, multiple courses, and, of course, a whole lotta wine.

The DOC-Teutonic-Wares dinner goes down from 6:30 to 10 pm on Tuesday, May 8. Tickets for the dinner, sans gratuity, are $125 each, and can be purchased at DOC’s TOCK page.

Can’t make it? Keep your eyes peeled for other Au Naturale dinners with Crowley Wines (June 12), Minimus Wines (July 17), and Keeler Estate (August 17).
