Governor Kate Brown will be giving a 1 pm press conference today to provide updates on the current state of Oregon wildfires and the progress being made to contain them. Her last press conference was this past Monday, where Brown and various state firefighting and public health officials gave reporters both good and bad news: the recent changes in the weather that helped firefighters go into attack mode on the state's many blazes, and sadly, more information about the dead and missing.

Today Brown is expected to be joined by these same officials who will be sharing the latest info on controlling the state's wildfires, Oregon's terrible air quality, rescue and recovery efforts, and how the rain and thunderstorms moving into the area will help or perhaps worsen our situation.
