Tilt’s 2014 Portland Burger Week burger recipe is a mash-up of flavors inspired by a classic American cheeseburger and traditional eastern European cuisine. Fittingly dubbed the “Eastern Block,” the burger is comprised of a locally sourced natural chuck patty, american cheese, hand-carved pork belly, fried onions/peppers and a tasty house recipe sweet pepper & dill yogurt sauce all perfectly nestled on one of Tilt’s giant, house recipe fresh baked biscuits.

To sweeten the deal for Burger Week, the talented bar team at Tilt will offer two special $5 cocktails that can only be purchased along with the burger week burger. Customers will be given a choice between an eastern european or western American inspired cocktailโone vodka-based, one whiskey-basedโeach $5.

The burger is available at both Tilt Swan Island and Tilt Pearl. The cocktails are available only at Tilt Pearl.

Important reminder: THESE BURGERS WILL SELL OUT. Last yearโs restaurants had one main issue with the event last year, and that was people getting angry and rude when they found out that they are part of a reality where restaurants that are getting slammed run out of food. We have better forecasting numbers this year, but please: go early, be kind, get a drink, and, most importantly, a $5 burger is a privilege, not a right. You know what someone who acts like a horseโs ass is? Hint: It has two enormous buttocks and large poops fall out of the middle.

Does anyone find these extreme closeups of incredibly sloppy looking burgers appetizing in any way?
As a vegan, I…
Yes, Debbie Downer. That motherfucker looks delicious. Now go chase a conspiracy.
[shut up vegan]
… I was going to say, as a vegan, this looks suspiciously like a hamburger that’s been dropped on the ground by a man that’s just had a heart attack and what appears to be the contents of somebody’s stomach poured into a coupe glass.
That particular burger(?) looks like something that was hit along highway 26.
Is anyone else curious about the thing hanging out of that cocktail glass? Is that fried chicken? Do I need glasses?
