February 28th is World Spay Day, and if you and yours are at all subsidized financially with food stamps, unemployment, or government assistance of any kind, the Oregon Humane Society and partnering animal shelters will fix your cat for free from February 27 to March 2! If you don’t receive government assistance, you probably have enough money to pay for the operation yourself. Get it done.

I neutered my own cat. Free is good so definitely take advantage of that, but don’t pay ever someone for neutering… it’s really easy. I don’t know about spaying, though.
