Tomorrow night, the Mercury will be camping out along the Rose Parade route, saving a prime viewing spot for the lucky folks who won it in our charity auction. And of course we’ll be providing wholesome, family friendly activities all night long.

The schedule is hereโ€”our exact location is TBD, check Blogtown tomorrow for updates.

At 1 am, there will be a slide show, hosted and curated by yours truly, entitled “Pictures of kitties!!!1!!” I would love to include some photos of Blogtown readers’ petsโ€”if anybody wants in, please send pictures of your cats, along with a brief description including your cats’ names, to ahallett@portlandmercury.com. And stop by on Friday! It will be cute.

Alison Hallett served nobly as the Mercury's arts editor from 2008-2014. Her proud legacy lives on.

  1. i like cats but the world is more importnant and you should volunteer or the world or babies and think about that but i have a cat and her name is alison and thats wierd.

  2. dont they pay you monkeys to do anything better than post cat pictures every friday? Amy and Matt’s posts are annoying, he is an ass, but at least they write about something that has impact. he is not giggling histarically, wiping the drool off his keyboard while trying to dig up a picture of a cat, you retards cant even do that well. Humphries should be ashamed of you half wits with the stupid assed cat posts.
