Tomorrow night at 7:45 pm at the Hollywood Theatre (4122 NE Sandy), the Grindhouse Film Festival will be showing the 1978 kung fu classic Snake In the Eagle’s Shadow. One of the coolest action flicks ever made, Snake not only features a young Jackie Chan—back when he was super-fast, and hadn’t yet heard the cursed name “Chris Tucker”—but also an epic fight between a cat and a cobra! Obviously, you should go.
Tickets are normally $7, but you and your best friend in the whole wide world (your mom) have the chance to get in for free if you email me before 5 pm today. (Make sure your subject line is “drunken master.”) Before I leave the office today, I’ll pick a winner at random and email them by 5:30 or so to let them know when and where to get their tickets.
