Yes, that is Felicia Day of The Guild holding a drawing of a penis, only one of the highlights of Day Two of Seattle’s Emerald City Comicon. (That panel was moderated by Mercury Senior Editor Erik Henriksen, who actually did NOT fuck it up—video here).
It’s my first time at Emerald City. It’s fun! It makes me wish Stumptown had a slightly more mainstream/pop culture bent—great as Stumptown is, you’re just not gonna see Deadpool waiting in line at Subway, like we did this afternoon. Best costume so far: A scary, scary Weeping Angel. (I DID NOT BLINK.) Second best: This mother and son Calvin and Hobbes.

TEE SHIRTS!
That mom was just the future Mrs. David Wu.
@Rosy WIN!
I find that Portland DOES have an affinity for ‘mainstream/pop culture’ ; it’s just too filled with self-loathing snark to admit it. Portlanders seem to view anything popular as a guilty pleasure and would rather enjoy such things through the privacy of the Internet rather than having fun in front of others.
Felicia Day looks like a Cylon.
