Where’s the books for boys?
I made a ‘zine once with an embroidered cover. My friend Stacy did the embroidering. I have the original (obvi), and it’s awesome.

Rom, that is above and beyond! Are there still copies sitting somewhere in a consignment bin at Jackpot or something?
my wife made a whole book quilt + fake real books with embroidered covers. i cant find the link.
@c&b: I’m a big fan of that McGriddle zine. You can borrow my copy if you ever figure out who I am.
@cat & beard: I don’t think so. I’m terrible at keeping places stocked. But I have some still, in a box next to my oven. I can send you a copy… somehow. Not sure how. Hmm, are you going to go to the Mercury Yard sale?
Or you could hunt down Graham. That might be more fun.
I don’t want to go to the Mercury Yard Sale because everyone will be younger and prettier than me. Or older and boozier.
I just figured out your email (I think?) — we can work out a trade. My breakfast burrito for your McGriddle.
@ROM and Cat & Beard,
There are copies of the McGriddle zine at Multnomah County Library. I just saw one at Central last week. Go check it out! (also, come to the yard sale. Don’t worry, it will be a safe space.)
Oh man these are gorgeous! Are they expensive?
