I’ve noticed a couple of these signs posted around town recently, seeking help in solving the case of 32-year-old local musician Kipp Crawford, who was likely robbed last November before being fatally run over by two drunk drivers. The number on the flier goes to the police tip line. Though I haven’t heard any updates in the case, the fact that they’re putting up fliers looking for witnesses seems to show that the investigators haven’t found anyone who can help explain what happened to Crawford. That’s not good, but at least the police are putting in this desperate effort rather than giving up on the mystery.

The number to call if you know anything about the tragic death is 503-823-HELP.

  1. I assume it was family or friends. I don’t think flyering is really legal, and I’m sure if the police used this as a way to solve crimes, there would be a lot of flyers on our city’s phone poles.

In any case, it has been almost a year since Kipp was killed, and it still makes me sad.

    Fucking mean world. : (
