…But the thought of it makes me want to live zero times.

“YOLO Lounge will redefine upscale nightlife not just in Portland, but for the industry itself.”
If you’re curious how nightlife is being redefined, or where I won’t be shooting YeYo tequila tonight, Eater has pictures.

That is some tacky shit!
Way better name:
“That Chode Bar, Yolo: You’re Only Groped by Ugly Retards There”
Yuppies of Lake Oswego
Yolo: bringing Beaverton to you.
Yolo, because we couldn’t think of an acronym for yoko.
“Yo La Tengo (Herpes)”
I wished they’d named this place Hung Far YoLo.
This doesn’t seem any douchier than most of the places in Portland. Am I missing some key element here?
I work in the Dekum building and have been walking past this place daily while they were working on it. Yeah, it looks too slick to be comfortable in, but at least they bought work from some local artists to fancy it up.
And some of the slick places can end up being somewhat pleasant to spend time in. While Candy seems to attract a chin-strap-beard, Ed Hardy kind of crowd, I really like Teardrop, despite the similar aesthetic. Maybe it’s the ridiculously awesome staff, or maybe it’s because it’s knee-walking distance home.
Yes, Overblown. Later, Overdrawn.
This area has needed a classy bar for older gay people. Godspeed Yolo.
