Neuropsychopharmacologist David Nutt was fired from his post on the UK’s Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs for saying that Ecstacy is no worse than alcohol. (Wait… is that true?) BUT THEN he moved on to a far more important project: Developing “a new drink that gives the same high as alcohol but without the harmful effects,” according to The Times of India. And, awesomely, he’s decided to call this wonderful invention, which causes “a pleasant state of mild inebriation” “Nutt Slammer,” which is the most awesome name ever. So. . . what’s in this magical elixir? Just um, some, like Valium, and um temazapam, and you know, some other stuff. DRINK UP.

  3. I like this guy. We need more super scientists devoted to creating drugs that get us all kinds of fucked up and don’t ruin our lives.
