Okay, we discussed this last week—how former Mercury staffer Katie Shimer is running a trivia night at Club 21, which happens to be the bar right next to our office, and how that might make a fun Blogtown/Mercury staff mixer. Well, Katie won’t be there this week (something about a “job interview” and “not being hungover”), so we’re gonna go ahead and plan on next Thursday, April 23, Club 21 (2035 NE Glisan). It’ll be fun! Or at the very least, incredibly awkward.

I’m in. The Merc is paying our bar tab, right?
In lieu of paying for content, you guys can buy US drinks.
Darn. I’m in class until 8:45-ish on Thursdays.
Q: What time will the trivia start?
A: Probably before 8:45-ish.
See how good I am at trivia?
I’m not really an expert in anything, but I have good general knowledge in music, sports, history, ringtones, golf, and The Simpsons.
@ Graham
I’ll buy you a drink for giving me the best laugh of the day.
boxxy is in.
Incredibly awkward is my middle name, I’ll totally be there.
Yes! Color me there.
Oh yeah: 7:30 pm
Rom, you should stop by after class!
club 21 i miss u. katie- how many fucking trivia nights are you running these days? sheesh
Thanks. I will try to make it. Maybe you, or someone, can save me a spot on a team…
I shall try and get my arse there. It would be fun to join forces with the Mighty Trolls of Blogtown to crush the puny pinko commie Merc staff.
NONE SHALL PASS!!!!!!!!
April 23 is my birthday.
I wonder if I should celebrate it by going next door.
Ruh oh.
It’s also the same night as the live satellite broadcast of This American Life in movie theaters… oh no, choices!
