Your Weekend Stymied by Budget Cuts?
After watching PSU lose to Xavier, I needed a few more drinks… From the bottle. So, I headed out to score some Sazerac rye. But at both liquor stores I visited I was met with signs posted to the front door apologizing for an early closure. At one store the sign blamed state budget cuts. At the other store the sign specifically blamed the OLCC for reducing their commission by 25%, thus causing them to reduce their hours.
I’ll be looking into this on Monday, but for now I’m asking Blogtownies: is this something you’re seeing at your local liquor store?
