If you’re like me, this presidential election has taken over your consciousness to the point of excluding everything else. Like your weekend! Well. It’s taken two days, but it looks like Friday night’s debate has yielded a winner. A new USA Today poll shows 46% of people thought Obama did a better job than McCain. 34% said McCain did better.
Obama scored even better: 52%-35%-when debate-watchers were asked which candidate offered the best proposals for change to solve the country’s problems. More than one-third of viewers, or 37%, said they had less confidence in McCain to fix economic problems after seeing the debate; 23% said more. For Obama, the survey results were 34% more confidence, 26% less. Obama held a 5-percentage-point lead over McCain, 49%-45%, in the Gallup tracking poll taken Wednesday through Friday.
More importantly, a reprisal by Tina Fey of her role as Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live! The tragedy? That Fey barely has to add anything to Palin’s interview with Katie Couric to make it seem any more ridiculous:
Classic. I almost want Palin to get elected so we can have more of these skits.

Great nes on the poll results. Tina’s take on Palin was even better in this skit than the prvious one she did! Amy is hysterical as Katie Couric.
Tina Fey said she wouldn’t do Palin impersonations for the next four years, so the only possible silver lining to McCain winning doesn’t even exist.
Hilarious skit.
