Seriously, could the shouts have been any more tepid? It was all the more apparent when Representative Earl Blumenauer was named, and people lost their shit. Even David Wu got a lot of noise (although the “Wuuuuu” chants sounded almost like “booo.”

    You know the real boos would have happened if Adams would have got on stage. Rumor was that he was invited but was a no-show so Jefferson Smith had to jump in and take his place.
