As you may have noticed, we published our election endorsements this week. And believe me when I say, these endorsements came at a fairly heavy price. The Mercury news staff and I argued for days behind closed doors, each of us valiantly defending our case. The following video documents the argument that News Editor Denis Theriault and I had over the mayor’s race. We eventually came to a decision—but only after realizing that only one of us could emerge victorious. Sometimes politics isn’t so pretty. (Denis is the one with the beard.)
