The bonkers Herman Cain TV ad I posted this morning got me wondering: How many Herman Cain music videos are on the internet? Answer: A LOT.

First off, the rockin’ tune from the campaign ad is American Idol contestant Krista Branch’s “I Am America” (not this I Am America), which Herman Cain has adopted as his campaign theme song:

AND THEN…

A band called Bitterclinger put together this “Go Cain” song, in which “Go Cain” sounds a lot like “cocaine.”

There’s a bunch of videos of Herman Cain singing gospel. Listen to him lay it down:

The campaign’s official music video (squee!) is built around the fact that “Cain” rhymes with “train.”

Then, of course, there’s always the classic, always the best, the Imagine Pizza song.

Sarah Shay Mirk reported on transportation, sex and gender issues, and politics at the Mercury from 2008-2013. They have gone on to make many things, including countless comics and several books.
