Man, I cannot wait for the upcoming presidential debates! (BTW, the Mercury’s going to be hosting televised viewing parties of the debates at the Backstage Bar starting on October 3rd—stay tuned for details and be there!) But the main reason I can’t wait is because people keep forgetting how TERRIBLE Romney is whenever he is on the spot (which is every time he opens his mouth). For further proof, check out this “Oh, You Certainly are AWKWARD, Mitt Romney” supercut! Count the number of times you cringe… and then stop counting because you won’t be able to keep up.

Romney is often awkward in interviews and when he tries to personally relate to an audience.
But debates are different because they’re more formally structured. Unfortunately, he’ll do fine and won’t be all that entertaining.
