Paul mentioned earlier that President Obama gave a subtle shout-out to the Occupy movement over the weekend.
The people who are running Obama’s re-election effort, however, are being a lot less subtle:
“We intend to make it one of the central elements of the campaign next year,” Obama senior adviser David Plouffe said in an interview. “One of the main elements of the contrast will be that the president passed Wall Street reform and our opponent and the other party want to repeal it.”
“I’m pretty confident 12 months from now, as people make the decision about who to go vote for, the gut check is going to be about, ‘Who would make decisions more about helping my life than Wall Street?'” Plouffe added.
Smart. Another thing going for Obama as he pursues this strategy: Wall Street is putting its money on Romney.

How can a guy whose entire staff is composed of Wall Street bankers, and whose entire record is that of supporting Wall Street banks claim with a straight face to support Occupy Wall Street?
Because it’s about symbolism over reality.
Yeah, just like ending the wars were central to his first campaign
‘Who would make decisions more about helping my life than Wall Street?’
The guy who continued the bailouts, that’s who!
Wall st putting money on Romney? I just saw today Obama has received more $ in campaign donations than every other GOP candidate combined. He got more Wall St money in 2008 than any other candidate too. Can we quit with this “Obama vs The Bankers” BS already? Both parties are cozy with Wall St, few candidates more so than Obama.
Meant to say “Obama has received more $ *from Wall St* than every other GOP candidate combined.
Obama supporters are completely blind to his faults.
