Somehow I’m not surprised that Portland has a car club for hearse enthusiasts, The Coffin Cruisers. If you just drove your hearse into town (according to the website they also welcome other “professional car owners” of ambulances, limos and flower cars(?)), this is the crew you’ll want to connect with. This weekend might be a good opportunity: “Return to the Drive-In” is this Saturday at 6 pm, a meet-up of “hearses, movies, and buttery popcorn” at the 99W Drive-In in Newburg. (Dude, The Dark Knight Wall-E is playing!)
