The Bird and the Bee headline tonight at the Doug Fir (9 pm, $10), a jazzy electro-pop twee duo out of L.A., consisting of Greg Kurstin (fun fact: Kurstin wrote and produced Lily Allen‘s latest release, It’s Not Me, It’s You) and Inara George (fun fact: She is the daughter of late Little Feat frontman Lowell George). And if you feel like dancing at the show, put your shyness in your pocket because the bar is not set so high:

Opening is Obi Best, project of The Bird and the Bee’s backup singer, Alex Lilly. I’m fresh out of fun facts about Lilly, but I am somewhat keen on the denim bustier she wears in this video for “It’s Because of People Like You”:
