FILM—Okay, so the first Hunger Games movie wasn’t so great. But the last one was fucking awesome, and director Francis Lawrence is back for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part I—the first in a two-part finale that’ll have Katniss Everdeen redefining “badass.” Also, Julianne Moore is in this one, so guess what that means: BEST PICTURE OF ALL TIME. COMEDY—With pathological optimism, absurd humor, and executive producer Amy Poehler, Broad City is everything I’d hoped a certain HBO show would be. Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer’s youthful exuberance and poor decision-making are cry-face-inducingly funny, like a weed- and candy-addled Skype session between friends. Bring whoever wears the other half of your friendship necklace. MEGAN BURBANK
