MUSIC—The venues in which Edna Vazquez shares her Mexican folk songs are bound to get bigger, so the chance to catch her at this downtown church should not be taken for granted. Her strong voice alone might be enough to transport an audience, and combined with her formidable mariachi guitar playing she’s just about unstoppable. MARJORIE SKINNER
