Light and Shadows: Masters of Cinematography
1968’s Targets is a low-budget thriller about a sniper at an LA drive-in movie theater. While it marked the end of Boris Karloff’s illustrious career, it launched those of director Peter Bogdanovich and cinematographer Lรกszlรณ Kovรกcsโand Kovรกcs’ gripping camerawork is the real star here, as you might have guessed from the film’s inclusion in the Hollywood’s excellent Masters of Cinematography series.
