Tonight’s tribute to Erykah Badu promises to flood your senses with interpretations of the visionary artist’s neo-soul. Local musicians will cover the hits while the House of Aquarius dance troupe (who curated the stacked lineup) performs choreographed routines. Whatever, LA and NYC. It’s Tucson we’re really mad at. Two of Portland’s funniest stand-ups—Kristine Levine and Veronica Heath—are leaving for Arizona. They both have debilitating rheumatoid arthritis and the dry weather’s going to help them; our wet weather will hide our tears when we bid these talented comedians a very sad farewell.
