It has been a long week, but fortunately it’s looking up as there’s a lot to get up to this weekend, on a budget to boot. Community arts center True North Studios will host an artist’s market to raise money for a local nonprofit, and the All Black Effect block party lends a platform to Black artists and creatives. Just make sure to don a mask no matter what you choose to attend as the state is requiring masking outdoors starting today to help curb the spread of the Delta variant.

FRIDAY

COMEDY

Comedy in the Park
If there is any rule of comedy, it’s that it is always best enjoyed outside. I think George Carlin said that. Anwyay, you can enjoy the comedic stylings of some of Portland’s best comics this Friday starting at 6 pm. Its hosted by Portland jokesters Seth Allen and Tory Ward in what is sure to be a night of chuckles galore.
