FRIDAY

PRIDE

HyperPride! A Hyperpop Dance Party for Pride
Hold on to your rainbow flags and leather harnesses; this hyperpop party is taking Pride into hyperdrive. From queer ally and pop queen Charli xcx to nonbinary digicore pioneer Jane Remover, this Friday night dance party will play tracks to get your body moving. Pacific Northwest drag pop divas Miss Jaxon and Cody James stop by for pop-up drag performances to entertain partiers while they take a break from thrashing about with queer joy. A friend recently told me that their current top two albums of the year are by gritty bisexual pop princess Slayyyter and glitchy trans artist Underscores, and I expect we’ll hear multiple tracks from each. Bring your fiercest, queerest self and get ready to slay! SHANNON LUBETICH
(Peacock, Buckman, $10-$15)
