FRIDAY

LIVE MUSIC

Double Wish / TNDRGRL / Rango
Double Wish blends psych-rock and synthpop on their high-energy, self-titled debut album, which came out in August. KEXP music director Chris Sanley shouted out the release in her weekly music review roundup, noting the “shimmering guitars, hazy vocals, introspective lyrics, and infectious hooks.” The Orange County-based duo brings their surf-influenced tunes to Portland for the first time with support from local groups TNDRGRL, a rock band with blues undertones, and Rango, a loud shoegaze project born from basement shows.
