Everyone’s favorite autumnal gourd is back and ready for picking at the Sauvie Island’s venerable Pumpkin Patch, which grows over two million pounds of pumpkins annually and sells them for $8 a pop. They also have a market and gift shop, a barn filled with farm animals, a coffee cart, a corn maze, and free hayrides to the U-Pick field. Another nearby option is the family-owned Plumper Pumpkin Patch & Tree Farm, which offers pumpkin picking, a farm store, a hobbit house, a corn maze, baby animals, walking loops, pony rides, and a new hay pyramid to climb. Just be sure to purchase your tickets online ahead of time.
