• Two of the area’s more progressive companies, Alaska Airlines and Looptworks, have come together to collaborate yet again: Alaska needed to replace some old leather seats, so Looptworks stepped in to make good use of the discarded material. The Carry On Collection includes “a wallet, laptop sleeve, tote, crossbody and messenger bag, all made with repurposed seat leather from Alaska’s sister carrier Horizon Air.” Check out the whole collection here.

• Haunt‘s original shop space in the 811 E Burnside building has been hit with one too many leaks recently, so proprietor/designer Holly Stalder is on the hunt for its next home. In the meantime, Haunt is consolidating into its adjacent bridal salon space come the new year.
