The organizers of the fashion show formerly known as Doom Town are at it again, with a new name for their fashion ‘n’ rock combo platter: Sweet F.A. (the Sweet is for the band, the F.A. is for “fashion and art.” The show is being planned for February 21 at the Fez Ballroom, and th search for rock inspired fashion designers is on:
If you are interested in participating in the next show here is what we need from you:
-Sketches of your original designs (6-8 looks)
-Fabric Swatches
-Photos of past work (Doom Town alumni are exempt from this)
-Brief summary of the inspiration for your collection and background information on you and/or your company.We have a limited amount of space so only the most innovative designs will be featured.
Menswear is strongly encouraged.
All submissions must be in by 8:00PM on Friday, October 24th.

Having been to these shows I can assure you that they are high energy, super-fun events, and the audience is usually bobbing up and down to the music, the models look like they’re having a blast. It’s a great way to get exposure for your line out to an audience that’s not just fashion-oriented but also potential clients in the music scene.
