The thing about having Halloween fall on a Monday is that it essentially makes the holiday four or five days long, spanning over the weekend. Portland whooped it up hard this year (a little too hard, some members of law enforcement might say), and people really brought it in the costume department. (It was a good year for garden gnomes.)
