On what felt like the first Friday of summer, Evo and Skate Like a Girl Portland held a “SmorgasBoard Art Show” featuring some amazing artists. Nicholas Koza, Adriana Solis, Daniel Haugen, Nick Carnera, Kyle Dorfman, Sima Safavi-Bayat, Jenny Vu, Nathan Duffy, and Brandon Alves all showed amazing work on the very crowded, sunny upstairs level of Evo Portland. People were sweaty and squinting, but it was an adorable crowd. I’ve been to art shows at Evo before and none had this big of a turnout. The sun was shining, people were out, and everyone was in good spirits celebrating this “smorgasboard” of artists.
