• The new lookbook is out for REIFhaus‘ fall/winter ’15 collection, shot in the Gorge and featuring clothing that’s “inspired by the amazing landscapes of Oregon.” Emphasizing durability and versatility, the pieces are in denim, wool, and linen, including such wonders as the “swacket,” a combo sweater/jacket/scarf and long denim vests perfect for layering.

• Langlitz Leathers tends to fly under the local radar for those outside the motorbike world, but it’s one of the most badass apparel companies in the Pacific Northwest, turning out world-renowned riding leathers for 70 years running. Now they’ve teamed up with relative newbies Looptworks—which produces limited-edition designs using excess materials from partners like Patagonia and Alaska Airlines—on a line of US-made bags and wallets made using Langlitz’s leather scraps. Grayling Jewelry has begun to host some fun instructional style workshops. Upcoming they’ve got a fall trend update with pro stylist Kami Gray (Nov 8, free) and a workshop on making your own jewelry holder (Nov 21, $15).

• Portland ceramics superstar Pigeon Toe has released a holiday collection that includes non-dorky snowmen salt ‘n’ pepper shakers as well as lovely tree ornaments, cookie plates, gravy boats, and cocoa mugs.

• The grand opening of a new brick ‘n’ mortar for Nau has been set, for Thursday, Nov 19 (6-9 pm)!

• Dealhounds: The upcoming Acey’s Closet Sale has new and gently used designer women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories for as low as five bucks per piece! Running Fri Nov 6-Sun Nov 8, all proceeds support Dress for Success Oregon.

• New shop alert: Somethings is the latest addition to N Williams, a gift shop featuring gorgeous textiles, pottery, apothecary, jewelry and more.

Fortress of Inca and Adorn are now one: The former Fortress store on E Burnside is reinvented as a collaboration, with a capsule collection of Adorn’s clothing paired with the shoes. The grand opening is Nov 6 (6-9 pm, 729 E Burnside).

• More lookbook action! Hand-Eye Supply is really stepping up its apparel selection, pulling in designs for men and women from France, Japan, Germany and the US, and stretching the definition of workwear a bit (is that a dress I spy?). See it all here.
