• You may remember a while back when founder and designer Elizabeth Dye sold The English Dept. to Xtabay‘s Liz Gross. Now it’s been announced that TED is moving/consolidating across the river to the bridal salon space above Xtabay Vintage—everything else, including access to bridal designs from luminaries of the field (like Dye, Claire La Faye, and Leanne Marshall) will remain the same.
• If you didn’t get one of the private invitations to the Residents fashion show last month, which featured new designs from Alexa Stark, Kate Towers, and Howard—in a beautiful residence tucked away in the SW hills, you didn’t get the IRL experience, BUT you can still check out the photo evidence, like the shots (including backstage, which even us invitation-havers didn’t get to see) posted on Stark’s blog and the Howard Journal.
