Portlanders who work downtown are getting yet another option for last-minute lunches and end-of-day drinks when the arepa-happy bar, Teote, will open its third outlet in downtown’s Pine Street Market sometime very, very soon.

Owner Matthew Latterell confirmed that his team is currently finalizing the build-out, and that Teote’s Pine Street location could open by January 1, if not earlier.

“We are indeed working feverishly to get our space open in PSM as soon as possible,” Latterell says. “It'll be a bit of a ‘best of’ menu with a twist including tacos and even a burrito or two showing up on the menu, all building on the existing flavors and favorites from our other locations. We'll have a small bar featuring mezcal and tequila cocktails, margaritas, and frozen drinks.”

When it finally does open over the next 12 days, it will be under the banner of the Teote Outpost.
