At long last, The Woodsman Tavern (that long-rumored, then long-awaited restaurant from Stumptown’s Duane Sorenson) is opening its doors tonight, and these photos have me pretty excited.
They’re open everyday of the week, 5:00-10:00, with plans to begin brunch service in the near future. If anyone braves the crowds tonight, report back and let us know if it lives up to the hype.

Uh, there’s already a Woodsman Tavern in Philomath. You know the Philomath Woodsman is #legit. Whereas this poseur Woodsman… well, you might instead call it “Lumberjacks”.
5-10 doesn’t seem like much of a window for any business, let alone a restaurant/bar.
