Finally some good news at 1733 Alberta. After a Fourth-of-July fire destroyed much of their buzzed-about restaurant, Sarah Pliner, Jasper Shen, and Kat Whitehead are reopening Aviary to the public tonight. They’ll be adding a new bar in the adjacent space in a couple weeks, but for now, get in there and enjoy some crispy pig ear, ox tail croquettes, and tempura pumpkin. Aviary’s open 6-10 Monday through Wednesday, and 5-11 Thursday through Saturday.
