The temps have plummeted and it’s time to turn your attention to the insulating benefits of the rich food and flowing wines of this bounteous region. The organizers of the Northwest Food & Wine Festival know this, and have timed their event just so, ensuring that the names of their vendors will be fresh in your mind as you stock the larder for Thanksgiving and beyond.
This weekend (Sat-Sun) at the Lloyd Center Doubletree, you’ll be able to sample 600 wines along with a slew of small bites and food samples from 50 restaurants! Beers too! There’s also the Pâté in Portland pâté and charcuterie competition, a “Lamb Focus Feature,” as well as “The Sausage Slam, A Fungus Affair, and Oyster Enthusiasts”! Plus cocktail classes, live music, and more. it’s enough to make you want to start training your stomach’s capacity to expand further than ever thought possible.
