I’ve mentioned this Guild thing before—here and here—but not in a Portland-related capacity, UNTIL NOW:
Tonight from 7-11 pm, great local nerdery supply store Guardian Games (303 SE 3rd) is pairing up with the Joss Whedon Obsessives Support Group PDX Browncoats to host a benefit screening of all The Guild webisodes to date. (Sure, shut-in, you can watch ’em all online—but it’s a comedy, which means it’s about 10 times funnier when watching it with other people.) Admission is “one youth item donation for Raphael House” (their wish list can be found here), and attendees are also eligible to win a copy of The Guild comic book that’s been signed by writer/star Felicia Day and star Amy Okuda.
