I guess all it took was overwhelmingly positive reaction and impressive sales figures to prove to Capcom that there really is a market for 2-D retro gameplay.
Now make sure you all buy Mega Man 10 when it launches. We don’t want Capcom suddenly assuming our affection for pixels is dead and giving the Blue Bomber a dark, futuristic makeover a la The Bomberman That Shall Not Be Named.
(Side note: If any of you know Morgan Freeman, I would pay extremely good money to hear him record a narration track over this trailer. I need to hear his dignified voice say “roboenza” with the sort of gravitas usually reserved for documentaries about the horrors of Sudanese violence.)

I’m sorry, but this is bullshit. Just fucking plug in your SNES and play some goddamn MegaMan X2 or whatever. We’ve got fucking supercomputers plugged in to our fucking TVs. Let’s use those mutherfukers and do something interesting for once.

Leaving ballz early tomorrow. I finished all of my work stuff this morning, and am currently staring at the clock and thinking of more ways to incorporate Wayne’s World quotes into my commenting lexicon. I think I will some day challenge myself to comment with only Wayne’s World quotes for a week. It would be funny (to me).
At the Halloween thing there were at least two couples dressed as Wayne and Garth (one was girl Garth and boy Wayne, the other was boy Garth and girl Wayne). Looking at them together felt like staring into the sun for an hour and then winning a million dollars.
@atomic: Were you dreaming of being the meat in a four-way Wayne & Garth gender-ambiguous sandwich?
