Team Fortress 2 is now available on OS X.
*Cue chorus of singing, dancing cherubs and as-jubilant-as-burning-corpses-can-be Seraphim*
Full details on the “Mac Update” can be found here, but the quick and dirty version is as follows:
– Team Fortress 2 now available on OS X
– Game now includes an offline practice mode where players are pitted against computer-controlled ‘bots
– Playing TF2 on a Mac before June 14 will earn your character a set of in-game ear buds
– And in case you’re one of the two people who hasn’t played what PC Gamer has dubbed “the most fun game ever made,” both PC and Mac owners can download and play the game via Steam, free of charge until June 13

As soon as work is over (and dinner made and all that truck), and if I can withstand the temptation of Red Dead… it’s on. Hopefully I’ll do better than I did on the 360 version. I mean, I was decent enough with the heavy, the soldier and the scout but sucked ass with the spy.
If by “free” you mean $10, then yeah, it’s “free”.
Oh dear. TF2 is enough of a draw without the temptation of an influx of players that I might actually be able to beat.
