Who has the bestest retro arcade/bar in the country?

Thanks to Ground Kontrol’s legions of fans, GK snagged first place in Stride Gum’s recently ended “Save The Arcades” contest.
As mentioned when we last brought this up, the grand prize for GK’s radness is a $25,000 bag o’ cash intended to improve the place. No official word yet on what changes Ground Kontrol’s management have in mind, but as the official website says,
“We’ll post some details of our expansion plan just as soon as we stop seeing cowbots on our eyelids as we fall asleep at night!”

Real “retro” when you replace the original Street Fighter 2 with Turbo edition.
The turbo edition is better, though. Are you going to hate on Ms. Pac-Man over Pac-Man now?

@w9gM…: Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting is about 18 years old – is that not retro enough for you? 😉 Seriously, though – We would like to feature the original Street Fighter II as well, but it never earned as well as Hyper Fighting. Perhaps when we have more space we can work something out!
@Blabby: We’re working on a PlayChoice-10, which is a Nintendo arcade system designed to play special versions of NES games, including Super Mario Bros. & Castlevania! We’ll be able to choose 10 games for it – so odds are high both of those games will be options when it debuts.
Oh, and @MrPDX: Golden Axe is on our list, too – along with some other classic sword-slashers!

His constant SF2>Turbo ramblings either indicate that he has absolutely no taste in 2-D fighters (Turbo can really only be considered sub-par to the console-only Super HD Remix or SF Anniversary Edition — both of which are essentially aesthetically upgraded/feature added versions of Turbo). Choosing vanilla 2 over Turbo is almost definitely an uneducated decision.
