No one is going to make a fat joke? Really?
I finally got your point last night after reading every post on both your’s and Lindy’s columns.
At first I was very offended then I thought about it and I realized what (I think) you were trying to say was that IF banning fat marriage was the proposed bill OF COURSE people would see that as awful BUT since it is banning gay marriage fewer people are speaking out. Given the comments I think you proved your point.
I wanted to add though there are a lot of other people discussing the health issues of weight but so few people as eloquent as yourself highlighting gay rights issues. Don’t let your voice be drowned out!
Yay!!! Go Iowa grandma! Proud to be sitting in Iowa Right-Freakin’-Now.
(Though I still can’t wait to get back to PDX, lack of gay marriage notwithstanding.)
