Lately the Plaid near my house is just getting ridiculous. It's almost impossible to go in and buy a soda or something without having to wait in line for some absurd situation involving money orders, lottery tickets, can/bottle exchanges, buying a shit ton of junk food just because there's a coupon/sale for it and then making the cashier count it out repeatedly because you think they counted it wrong, or some other seemingly (to the parties involved) incomprehensible task that takes like five minutes while the line builds up behind you. Can't you just go to the counter, pay for your crap, and be done with it? I just want to get my goddamned Coke zero and get out of there, not wait for you to get your shit show of a life sorted out at the counter!
