The Sunday shit show was deemed a success by the mayor ….why? Because it was East county that got shit on this time? Racist tourists get free reign over a BIPOC neighbourhood. Not a cop in sight. Cowards. “We don’t have the resources”. How did the street racing ordinance work out for you the same day? They’re taunting you now. You’re powerless and gutless. Maybe the citizens of this city will no longer find the resources to support you anymore either Mr. Mayor and Mr. Policeman. I can tell you this for sure: the people of this town are about to pull the plug on all of you and start taking matters into their own hands, and it will get ugly fast. Nobody wants that but shit feels real broken right now and it’s going to come to a head. Do your fucking jobs.

    You get how terribly sad this is.

    The rightwing gun humpers love to hammer the mantra:

    “When seconds count the police are minutes away.”

    Which is true I suppose. Unless you’re a non-white resident of our once fair city. For those of us in not-white households, it has always been that when seconds count the police are late, or a no-show. Now, the wealthy white ‘class of 2020-21’ is finding out how it feels.

    Is it any wonder why many of the not-white, and the moderate liberal culture set are buying firearms in numbers never seen before? We aren’t afraid of the drug crazed junkie breaking in to steal from us. We’re afraid of another kind of crazed “junkie”. We used to have at least a little bit of hope that the police would eventually get around to showing up to help us. Now we know better.

    January 6 showed liberal white America who those “junkies” really are. On January 7 those who trusted that the police would selflessly stand between them and “the mob” are reevaluating that promise because they have learned that the police are the mob.

    Now they are asking who will stand between them and the police?

    We are indeed on our own.
