First of all, there is no such thing as “the media,” that’s a nonsense term used to generalize. Secondly, “the media” has plenty of objective information and “anonymous” sources to tell the story. Stories about wide-spread corruption that’s been normalized don’t sell chicken wing specials. Wheeler isn’t even half the problem. But as long as you are focusing your blinded rage on him, you won’t notice what the rest of them are doing.
Portland is an incestuous den of corruption, it’s incredible difficult to untangle. Everyone has worked with everyone and gets paid by everyone.
